A new Innovation

I spent a few days at a friend’s place and the satellite TV was on the ROK channel. At first, I ignored it and went about my business like I didn’t notice until I sat down on one occasion and decided to just watch. 

Alas, I was amazed at the movies I saw. I must say the quality of movies produced and aired on the ROK channel are simply beautiful. I mean they can be qualified as top notch. And I’m not mincing words. From the epic train to the contemporary settings, one can see a massive improvement in cast, characters, settings and production style and ethics; and not to mention cinematography. 

The story lines and plots are gripping with settings which often depict the diverse cultures and traditions of the Nigerian society. This is a welcome change from the previous Nigerian movies we have been used to although I have never been a fan.

I have to give kudos to the producers at ROK TV. You can now watch movies that make a lot of drama sense, filled with suspense like Hell’s Fury featuring Clarion Chukwurah-Abiola. That was simply an amazing movie with lessons to learn from. I recommend it to all movie lovers!
